Occupational Therapy |
Occupational Therapists assist children to build fine motor, self help, and sensory processing skills. Therapists use sensory activities that encourage exploration, heighten sensory awareness, and enhance learning. Some therapy goals may include pre-scissors and pre-writing skills, as well as dressing and feeding skills.

Amy Agasino, OTR I graduated from Washington University with a masters degree in occupational therapy. I have experience working with children with various developmental disabilities and delays, including |
autism, pervasive developmental disorder, sensory processing difficulties, sensory and/or oral-motor feeding difficulties, Down's syndrome, and cerebral palsy. I have received training in the Handwriting without Tears program, and am also certified in the Therapeutic listening program using modulated music. I enjoy working closely with families and collaborating with other disciplines in order to meet each child's needs. |
