At Childgarden Child Development Center, we know that each child learns differently, and has different interests and skills. Our credentialed and experienced teachers get to know your child and work with you to create a fun and welcoming program that is tailored to your child’s needs. How Your Child Learns at Childgarden Child Development Center Childgarden Child Development Center’s curriculum is rooted in constructivism—the philosophy that learners construct knowledge through interaction with their physical and social environments. Put simply, Childgarden CDC’s trained teachers teach in ways that match the way children learn and develop. Our curriculum gives your child the opportunity to learn and practice newly acquired skills. It offers challenges just beyond his present level and in a warm, inviting environment where children feel safe and valued.
At Childgarden Child Development Center, our teachers balance a general knowledge of child development with the particular knowledge they gain by getting to know you and your child. Teachers work as facilitators, helping children to solve problems and deepen their understanding of the world. Our low teacher to child ratios and small group sizes make sure that your child gets the individual attention he needs to succeed.
Our curriculum incorporates Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Standards for Pre-K Education in · Literacy · Math · Science · Physical development · Social-emotional skills.
Through “hands on, minds on” experiences, your child reaches deep understanding in these core areas, while he also learns to work collaboratively with adults and peers and to be life long problem solvers.
