Occupational Therapist

The Classroom Floater/Aide supports the co teachers in the planning and implementation of an individualized developmentally appropriate curriculum for children of all abilities.  He or she will maintain positive effective communication with children, parents and other staff to promote and ensure appropriate programming.

· High School Diploma, CDA preferred

· Experience with young children and/or disabilities is preferred

· Must relate well to children and families

· Able to lift up to 20 lbs. up to 30 times per day; up to 40 pounds

· Able to bend, stoop and/or kneel frequently throughout the day.

· Able to physically lift and carry young children to assist in emergency evacuations
